What does The Relief of Pain really mean to you?

Updated: Jan 30, 2023

You’re here, reading this, because you are currently in physical pain somewhere in your body’s structure. It’s your neck, your back, your shoulder, your arm, your hand, your knee, your hips, your feet. Something hurts so bad you MUST do something to make your pain go away. And so, you’re going to take action. You’re really going to do it. You’ve decided that now is time!

Or have you?

You’ve thought about this before. And you’ve put it off. The kind of pain you’re in is the result of something that happened some time ago and so far you’ve done nothing about it — at least nothing that’s really worked. You know it’s been too long and now you think you want to get it fixed. Make it go away. You know why you want to do this. But you’re not sure of who, what, where, when, how, and how much; so you’re doing your research. Looking into your options.

You know that even more than having the pain go away, what you really want is the relief that comes after the pain is gone. You want to replace the daily agony of your life with the joy of living. The joy of having your pain be just a memory of a bad time in your life.

Well, as they say, you’ve come to the right place. One of the goals of Structural Therapy is to lessen your pain and increase your joy. Perhaps, “fix” is not exactly what happens but Structural Therapy can see to it that the pain you’re currently living with every day will soon leave you and be replaced by the joy of knowing that today is another glorious one and that joy has replaced pain in your life.

And that’s what the relief of pain really means to you.

Pain creates walls.

When you tear down those walls,

Joy can enter.

Pain and Joy are decisions.

Which will you choose?
