What Happens In A Chiropractic Session?

Updated: Jan 30, 2023

A typical session consists of

  • 15 minutes of warm up

  • 1 minute spinal adjustment

  • 10 minutes of weight/balance training

  • 10 minutes of TENS (STIM) on your problem areas

  • 10 minutes of roller bed back therapy

  • 10 minutes of stretching exercises specifically tailored to your needs.

Sessions last about an hour and fifteen minutes. You will have 18 sessions over 6 weeks, be re-evaluated, and then the final 18 sessions or until targets are reached.

Depending on what your particular areas of pain entail, your treatment times and therapies may differ from this typical scenario.

As you advance to various stages, you will be given activities, stretches, and procedures to perform at home. These activities will both increase the speed of achieving your goals and provide you with a continuing source of maintenance once your goals have been reached.

On a regular basis, you will work with a physical therapist, physical therapy assistants, a Doctor of Chiropractic, Chiropractic assistants, and a Nurse Practitioner. Our entire program is regularly reviewed by a Medical Doctor.
